About

Engineer first, healthcare by trade.

Full-stack engineer working across Next.js, React, Node.js and TypeScript on AWS. Most of my work lives in healthcare: EHR/EMR integrations, clinical documentation, and revenue cycle management — systems where correctness, auditability and patient privacy are the requirements, not the nice-to-haves.

Day to day that means shipping across the whole stack: typed React and Next.js on the front, Node services and Postgres or MongoDB behind them, and AWS infrastructure defined in CDK underneath. The domain happens to be one where a rounding error is a rejected claim and a leaked field is a reportable incident, which is a good way to learn to build carefully.

    Oct 2025 — Present · Islamabad, Pakistan

    • Build healthcare products spanning clinical documentation, EHR/EMR integration, medical billing, claims, denials and revenue-cycle workflows.
    • Contribute to SmartNotes AI, an AI-assisted platform that turns clinical encounters into structured notes, patient summaries and billing information.
    • Develop integrations with eClinicalWorks, CareCloud, Epic and Oracle Cerner covering patient, appointment, encounter, authentication and clinical-document workflows.
    • Designed and built an AR & Denials Revenue Intelligence Platform that normalizes EMR claim extracts, scores recovery potential and produces prioritized worklists.
    • Built cloud-native services on AWS CDK, ECS Fargate, ALB, S3, SQS/DLQ, Lambda, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, ECR, Cognito and Amplify with OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC and audit logging.

AR & Denials Revenue Intelligence Platform

An RCM platform that ingests messy EMR claim and denial extracts and turns them into ranked, actionable worklists for billing teams.

  • Ingests variable Excel extracts with flexible or AI-assisted column mapping, normalizing claim headers and CPT/ICD service lines into a reusable canonical model.
  • Transparent 0–100 recovery-scoring engine driven by A/R age, balance at risk, denial category, claim status, payer behaviour and historical CPT/provider patterns.
  • Produces recovery probability, expected recoverable dollars, decision rationale and next actions — appeal, resubmit, correct coding, request documentation, follow up or write off.
  • A/R aging and denial root-cause analytics, payer/provider/CPT cross-tabs, claim allocation, audit logs and predicted-versus-actual ROI tracking.
  • PHI-aware Quick Insights and Data Studio built on OpenAI and Anthropic with SSE streaming, de-identified prompts and pinned charts.
